Webin 1995, warmaster records released a live bootleg album of a mayhem show with dead on vocals titled the dawn of the black hearts and controversially one of pelle's suicide. Webmayhem's guitarist, euronymous (who took this photo), took bits of dead's skull and made them into necklaces for members of the black metal scene, including the band's. We have all heard the legend that per 'dead' ohlin's skull fragments were sent to various musicians by euronymous shortly after dead's suicide.
